In poker, players form sets of five playing cards, called hands, according to the rules of the game. In the main Lobby games can change fast and when you try to register for a specific game it disappears when full, and another game changes to that position in the list, so be very careful when registering for popular games as they can change fast. An ace-high straight flush, commonly known as a royal flush, is the best possible hand in many variants of poker. In Short Deck Poker a Flush does beat a full house If Pokerstars have introduced Short Deck Poker you have to be careful for what game you are actually buying into, I registered for a game once and did not realise I was buying into a "Omaha" game, when I was dealt 4 cards on the first hand I was confused, as I had never played Omaha before, I obviously lost, but I became interested in the format and played more games after I had studied the rules more and actually prefer Omaha now to Holdem. If you are playing wildcard poker then five of a kind beats it, and in Lowball poker, it is a very weak hand (depending on the type of Lowball ranking used, it can be the weakest possible hand). In Short Deck there is no 2,3,4, or 5 so you are playing with 16 fewer cards and the Ace is played High or Low so becomes the 5 Likewise that would also explain why a "Flush" beat a "full house". In regular poker games, it's impossible to beat a royal flush hand as it is the very best hand you can make. To me this looks like a "Short Deck" Game.
